A Changing View of Work and Life

This was in the New York Times today. What's so terribly awful with these guys anyway? I'd have a problem if they were drinking, doing drugs, beating their wives and children, or blaming everyone else on their current status? One guy work at the same company for thirty years, the other guy has a doctorate, and the last guy is heading a local AA meeting. That doesn't sound like a bunch of career welfare bums to me. No, they don't want to settle for less and enjoy having free time. So does that make them Satan's spawns? Tell me something, have you tried looking for a job lately? Count your lucky stars if you haven't.

It's easy to say they (or should say I) are lazy and don't desire to work. I'll concede that there's probably some truth to it. But in our defense, not working for a long duration does change your prespective/philosophy on things. Feel free to judge us, but when it's your turn, let's see how well you handle the situation. As for not taking a lower-paying or lower-status job. Again, let's see how you handle and enjoy it. Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

Update

Hello Folks,

Its been awhile but I promise to update this site soon.

Superman Returns

Whoops, I never did do a review for this one. It was as good as the original Superman with Christopher Reeves. I didn't think they needed to update the characters (i.e. Lois Lane as a unwed mother, and Clark Kent having a beer with Jimmy Olson) but perhaps I'm being a prude. Though I do have to admit that Parker Posey just wasn't pretty enough to be Lex's moll. Its worthing renting anyway.
