An interesting article about the new Ford SUV.  They really seemed to have thought this out.  Ford has the right idea but they should of just used the electric motor for propulsion like the Volt.  It would save weight, lesson the complexity, and cost of a dual system hybrids use.  Of course the engineers probably thought of this and decided not to go in that direction.  I wonder why?
